對於很多事情總是說:「我做不來。」

我覺得只是沒有用心而已,

事情其實往往沒有想像中的那麼難,面對它就對了。

每個人的大腦裝的東西真的不一樣嗎?

其實應該是說,大腦真正醒來部分是多還是少?

很多人只是讓自己的大腦許多部分就這樣睡著罷了,

因為日子一樣還是可以繼續過,

只是我想問:什麼是每天日子的意義?你知道別人是怎麼看待你的嗎?

多想想這些問題,多在意點別人的感受,

我想,這就是用心的第一步。:)

想盡辦法認識XBee和Arduino!-基本購買清單教學


最近因為作品關係,終於有空將對XBee來研究一番。雖然說網路上很多相關資料了,不過中文的似乎不多??
還是獻上微薄的心得分享,畢竟我在查詢網路資料時,發現國內有些資料竟然莫名消失,甚至沒什麼提到重點.....
再者,使用Mac作業系統的人越來越多,為了Mac系統常告訴自己要突破些什麼(哈),所以希望這分享對有需要的人可以獲得幫助:)!

玩互動裝置有的時候就是要一口氣,一口氣下去做,做到剩下一口氣才結束。

一句老話,「工欲善其事,必先利其器」。

購買清單為:

1. XBee

單看XBee這塊板子似乎是一個很單純的東西,但是,其實是最頭大的東東。

以前在還沒接觸時,常會誤認XBee是一個「無線版的Arduino」,後來發覺自己真是白痴...XD

深入了解後,它是一個媒介,一個基於ZigBee技術來傳送訊息的媒介,並沒有包含Arduino的處理器(ATmega168 or ATmega328 )。

一個應用實例為:
訊息是由Arduino來傳給XBee,再由XBee將之傳送給另一個XBee。

而我們有很多種選擇來購買不同版本的XBee,主要可以分為兩種,一種為Series 1,一種為Series 2。很不幸的一件事,兩種版本無法溝通,所以不要買錯了呀。要不就是全部Series 1,要不就是全部Series 2。至於這兩種有何不同呢?以下為Digi公司所列出的比較表:

落落長的內容,重點就是2比1通信距離較長,並且有Mesh的功能。
但是Mesh的技術其實對於一般互動裝置其實比較不用用到,理論上我們最常用的還是點對點(Point to Point)。
還有一個重點,Series 1設定較簡單,反之,Series 2設定較嚴謹,要分別設定coodinator和router,這一部分我們晚點再談吧。總之呢,若手邊的是Series 1,就不用再更新,因為那已經滿足使用上的需求了:)。

2.XBee 載版

這裡說的載版是指讓PC認得XBee的載版。
功能有兩個:(1)讓PC可以用USB來存取XBee(2)將5V轉3V。

因為我們一般PC對外的介面就是USB介面,但是XBee並無USB介面,
所以我們必須透過一個神奇的晶片,讓PC可以用USB來存取XBee,而這晶片為FTDI公司出的IC-FT232。
好消息是,擁有Arduino的人,也擁有FT232,所以只要將Arduino上的5V轉為3V,接到XBee Vcc上,然後將Arduino上的Tx,Rx接到XBee上的Rx,Tx,即達到載板功效。若是認為麻煩,也有人將之模組化,即為Arduino XbBee Shield,相關網頁可參考arduino 官網上的敘述

Sparkfun有賣這一個模組,編號WRL-08687

而本人買的為山寨版,板子上的核心即為FTDI,如下圖。



插上XBee後如下圖。(這裡使用XBee Pro Series 2)



將這塊板子直接連到電腦,就可以開始設定囉!:)

下一集我們將開始設定XBee啦,

希望我們很快可以開始和Arduino做連結:)!

Symbol-Mix





OK, Finally succeed...

THe work is called "Symbol-Mix".

I try to combine with Chinese symbols, words and English symbols in the virtual 3D world,means our familiar virtual environment.

The effect and efficient are really good. I used Papervision3D 2.0 and Actionscript 3.0 to create this work,

and added motion bliur effect with Papervision3D 2.0.

Actually I followed the 3d tag cloud of the WordPress, and try to present the Chinese Symbol with Flash.

I like to write Actionscript ,because I can present Chinese symbols on the Flash, for communication English and Chinese language are very important.

Fuzzy Zone at DeSForM 2009 360˚DESIGN International Workshop

On October 26,27 ,I have one paper and one interactive demo for presentation at DeSForM 2009 in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. DeSForM workshop is supported by my love - PHILIPS.


I am so pleased and proud I can present my newest work - Fuzzy Zone at DeSForM interactive demo.

The idea of Fuzzy zone is from another my work Chemical Sound.I want to display the tiny liquid world as like truly world. The video captured by camera means our true life, sometime is so clear ,sometime is fuzzy, blur. But we know, our life is chosen by ourself. Whatever the world we face is clear or fuzzy, whatever the period of happiness, sad, or hard time we will process,at the moment, we just make a decision, that is truly us, that is our real life. When you use the dropper to drop the liquid in the black or white box, the behavior is "your decision". You can see "your decision" continuously transform in tiny liquid world, the change will affect the whole tiny liquid world.

Try to make 3D effects in the image by Jitter OpenGL-Basic 1

Jitter can draw 3D objects with OpenGL.

In this paragraph, Only three key points,we can draw 3D object much easily in jitter. First,select the 3D object you want with jit.gl.gridshape. Second,you must prepare the jit.window for showing 3D object in the system window. Finally,Rendering the 3D scene with jit.gl.render.


jit.window: you must give a name for jit.window so that other objects can find it. Here,I give the specific name ,"3dscene". depthbuffer argument means z-buffer,set 1 to open it.

jit.gl.gridshape:the message box shows the word "shape" and plus the 3d Object you want. Here,I select "cube",in the message box,then the text is"shape cube". Surely,you also can type like "shape sphere" in message box.

jit.gl.render:use metro object to trigger erase and bang message with trigger object ,that make the scene can be updated continuously.

all is done!:)
